Just finished 5.0 a few minutes ago and came here to write this review with my eyes full of tears. I hate this game! 10/10.
I feel sorry for those that chose not to experience this masterpiece because of all the weeb game misconceptions.
It blows away every other story driven games i've ever played, and the fact that it's part of a MMO just blows my mind. I can go even further and say that it beats every other media content i've experienced so far. The main characters along with the the villan are so well written and the story as a whole feels like an emotional roller-coster.
The fights were also enaging and fun and i haven't even got to experience them on higher difficulties.
Square-Enix really raised the bar on story telling, i really hope they will be able to at least match it with Endwalker.
