It is not the same calibre as 'the Haunting of Hill House' which it advertises itself to be. Dribs and drabs of scares post the first episode, with a huge focus on teen relationships and romance. Multiple lengthy sub-plot stories that don't quite fit, which are too long and get harder to sit through episode after episode. Strange character development, especially the main character who gets increasingly dislikeable which is a shame. Personally, I found a disappointing lack of twists and lots of unanswered questions by the finish.
