I love anything Jodie is in and to my surprise this movie started off very familiar. I thought they were recycling old movie plots but then all the characters were the same too! I much prefer Jodie over Candace so to have her actually replace her from Christmas under wraps made me laugh. It's a cute story and lovely scenic shots. Small town, outsider comes in to buy the property but surprise it's her ex's property. The mean boss who over works her and dangles the promotion carrot in front of her to get the deal done but the Christmas spirit saves the day. I loved all the Christmas sweaters but was disappointed no reindeers in this one. With the previous gf gone, does that mean there is no town doctor? Did everyone get sick and die so new characters had to appear? The ending felt uninspiring and there was no fake aurora borealis but there was a giant telescope. I'm not sure how I wanted it to end but it would be nice for the movie to end like how Candace's movies end where she gets an even bigger promotion than she expected from the start of the movie. In this one Jodie is unemployed with an inn that's going under! But the rest of the movie was a wonderful Christmas movie. I'll be watching it again.
