Some Very Good Moments
10 November 2022
Buster West and Tom Patricola deliver some mannequins to a fashion show. A couple of models have lost their jobs because they refuse to date their boss, Jack Hartley. So West and Patricola pass off one of their dummies as a princess to trap the lovestruck Hartley.

I know. As the other reviewer has noted, the absurdity of not noticing that is nigh unto unbelievable. That said, watching old movies, particularly silent movies, has accustomed me to believing seven impossible things before breakfast, and director William Watson had been wielding the megaphone for short comedy since 1918.

Besides, the story, such as it is, is not really important. There comes a moment when West & Patricola demonstrate their eccentric dancing, and that more than makes up for any shortcomings.
