Nice, But Way Different From The Book It's Based On
20 November 2022
Interrupting Chicken is a neat story for kids about a young chicken who interrupts bedtime stories with her wild imaginations of putting herself into the story to stop storybook characters like Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel from falling into danger. This series is almost like this, as each episode has the little red chicken (named Piper) is told a story, but she inserts herself in it. The only difference from the book is instead of scolding her, her parents actually invite her imagination and allow her to tell how she would rewrite the story. While this makes the show different from the book it adapts, it actually inspires kids to be like Piper and think of how they can rewrite classic stories like The Three Little Pigs, and find a way to solve problems each change brings, and even teaches some good lessons.
