Haul Out the Holly (2022 TV Movie)
1/10
The Worst Hallmark Movie I've Ever Seen
29 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I love Hallmark movies, and I love Christmas, but this was awful. First, Lacey Chaberts character is cast aside and ignored as a kid at Christmas so her parents can host parties for neighbors. Then when she grows up (after allowing a boyfriend to treat her poorly for years), her parents convince her to come home and spend Christmas with them only to ditch her, and leave her all of their holiday work. Next, a crazy HOA president and her parents other neighbors ignore her pleas to be able to enjoy Christmas, and not make it all about busywork. Instead of everyone else realizing Christmas isn't all about busyness and decor, she turns into one of them and falls for the crazy HOA president who cited her for not having her parents decorations up on time, or having the correct size of decorations. He didn't care anything about what she wanted or needed, just like her previous boyfriend. Her dysfunctional relationship cycle continues on.
