This started out really well. It has a decent premise, is well acted throughout and the dialogue is actually half decent. The flaws are that the "science" behind the entire premise is barely explained, which is fine I guess, if there is enough action and character development to offset it. There isn't much action, and the hand to hand fight scenes are generic and sometimes felt shoehorned in. The biggest problem is the season finale. It has to be one of the most anti climatic I have ever seen for a big budget series. It didn't close any storylines and it doesn't end on a cliffhanger that leaves viewers longing for season 2. It's worth a watch but not worthy of the 8 rating.
