I have actually spent about 15 minutes figuring out how I can leave a review of this that will show up on Amazon Prime - that's how strongly I feel about this show.
The thing is, it started so promising. Episode 1 was all scene setting and was good (cameo from Tom Jones anyone).
But from episode 2 it starts to go weird and feels like it's wading in concrete it's so labored. I wanted to power through and at least finish the season, but after 10 minutes of episode 5 I gave up. The story hadn't advanced since episode 2.
It's a bit like that BBC one with Sean Bean that's "an insight into marriage". Maybe it is for a small percentage, but neither were entertaining.
Avoid.
