The adaption is just okay cuz i cant feel the heavy of time which is really important in the original novel, so does the pain and wear-out of the heroine after the rape and everything.
Also some important background information is missing ,this makes me wonder how would someone who haven't read the novel understand why things go this way or not.
But most of emotion is right, you go with the flow, this version has made it a romance but when i was reading the novel, i would say it is more of a social drama about a society that rewards a rapist with the victim as long as he is rich , what's worse , the female family members of the victim are helping him to do so. Its a world people are feeding with each other.
