Back in elementary school as a kid I would watch Chico with my sister every week night. I loved the show. The Man, Chico etc. Well during Covid, with too much time on my hands, the wife we watched an old episode. Back in the 70's people were more blunt. The budget was low. Just found the old guy to grouchy. The show too predictable, but my wife like the episode. I found the episode lacking. Maybe it was me, maybe the episode, or my high expectations from the past, but I was majorly disappointed. Well, I should watch a few more episodes, but I would call Chico and the Man just another 70's series like Threes Company. 4 stars.
