A mushy story
10 February 2023
John Stewart used the Green Lantern ring from the previous owner, Hal Jordan. Together with Green Arrow, they are looking for answers to Hal Jordan's whereabouts and her ring. In the middle of the journey, they meet Hawkgirl and Adam Strange who are facing a big war.

This is the first movie I've watched from the Tomorrowverse movie list. The first thing that concerns me is the visual design or the design of a different cartoon model from the movie at DCAMU. This design does look firmer and more mature. However, not with the storyline of this film. This movie seems to me to be not fun and less fun. John Stewart's story as a new Green Lantern member who seems sucky and weak. John's character building in dealing with the problems of galactic warfare is also lackluster, less interesting and not memorable. The plot of the story has many holes with dialogue that also seems weak and ordinary. The existence of Green Arrow as a sweetener that for me is less important to its existence to show the side of friendship with Hal Jordan. Neither Hal Jordan nor Sinestro appear nor are they visible and feature no evil characters. The fight action in this movie is also not exciting for me. It seems ordinary, especially the use of the Green Lantern ring, which does not produce much unique power. The synestheron and its Yellow Lantern also don't have a satisfactory portion of the story. It is precisely disturbed by the very poor design of the Sinestro.
