I love the movie because it has many special and kind of absurd scenes and funny dialogues. The different characters are all great and the humour reminded me of vaudeville slapstick comedy. Even if there is no one plot it is precisely the combination of many subplots and putting each character in spotlight which i found refreshing. Elvis is very natural and easy going which is a welcome change to other 60ies movies...so it is as if in all the frenzy around you have the privilege of spending some time with him. The film confirms that with all his natural charisma he does not even have to be the center of the plot for the movie to be a good elvis movie. Also: the songs he performs are great.
