No pun intended - and hopefully you are not to taken back ... I mean Banderas has done so many things. But Puss in Boots ... I mean it is quite something, right? And last years movie really established him once again ... with an amazing animated movie to boost with. I would also like to see donkey have his standalone movie (like Eddie M. Said), but I don't agree that it definitely would be better than what they did with the cat character.
Anyway, enough about that - back to the actual adult movie Banderas did ... well one of many. He seems to step into the void or shoes Willis, Bruce has left ... for him? You have to admit, Willis and Cage seemed to have had dips on movies of that kind the last couple of years ... I reckon it is time for someone else to grace the covers.
And there is not much more to say about this. I assume this was shot in Greece, which should give it bonus points for me ... it was fun seeing greek actors ... but it doesn't change anything when it comes to the story and how easy to spot the twists and turns are. Not the best character he has played, but Banderas also has to pay the bills I assume ... this helps. And as long as we keep watching .. they will keep making them ... I've seen worse, so there is that too. Action is decent ... and I have to admit I did not recognize him on the cover ... so well done (?)
