House M.D.: Nobody's Fault (2012)
Season 8, Episode 11
1/10
Another useless « offbeat » episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I just hate those TV episodes with a storytelling that isn't linear. It's nothing but a cop out to make them last longer than they should, thinking « stylish » structure, and movie thriller's aesthetic, would make a difference. Had the story been told in the usual format, it would've been boring. And lacking true momentum. With lazy writing and an overall generic approach. And as far as House M. D. is concerned, as I often say, even if it triggers people here. The show was at its most efficient, as a run of the mill procedural, with a beginning, a middle and an end. Though the first couple of episodes, and medical cases seemed out of ideas, and apart from the annoying ugly Asian, who can't act. Season 8 has good leads, and one of the show's best « teams ». Nobody's Fault, is another « House » episode, that reminded me of an old Grey's storyline, from season 6. And instead of a whole medical board, including teachers to said students who « screwed up ». You only have one authority figure there, that will decide how the malpractice should be « punished ». Obviously, House sees in this another way to fight the system, with the help of his students. And under the compassionate look of another « bad guy ». So it gave him once again, enough arguments to act like a pompous jerk throughout. How is that any different, from other episodes?...
