I never really watched growing up but did catch it on YouTube and rewatching on tubi. I never seen a show where both the husband and wife end many episodes with a drink. Often the male character will have a beer or other drink but the female lead rarely drank in this one they both did which i found interesting and different. Another reviewer tore apart this show saying it was depressing among other things. I cannot disagree it was not exactly a happy show but it was more drama than comedy i do have to be in the mood for the show if i want to watch something happy go-lucky. The show is somewhat melancholy but I don't hate it. The "kids" can be annoying, they are far from prefect. Watching in 2023 is interesting cause it brings back memories of how life was back then without all the tech we have today. There is also the social opinions and feelings back then which can be frustrating but its the way things were back then fir a lot of people.
