As Susan Smith - Emilia Clarke - narrates this story, her hometown of Pikeville KY might be one of those at the bottom of the world. Once a coal mining place, that train has passed and there are few opportunities to make a decent wage. One is drug peddling, which is the choice of Susans ex husband, Cash. She and the children still live with him, despite divorce, because times are hard. However, one day Susan spies a way to better herself. Good looking, newby FBI agent Mark has come to town to solve a series of bank robberies and more. He is looking for informants and casts his eye on Susan. He promises cash and witness protection. But, she wants more. She wants HIM, even though he's a family man. They are soon an item, even though they aren't not dreaming the same dream. How can anything but tragedy be the result ? This absorbing film is based on true events. Clarke, a star of Game of Thrones, transforms herself into a Southern Siren. The rest of the cast, the settings and the direction are very fine. Here is a movie to tantalize the viewer in a big way.
