Had never heard of this movie, saw it was directed by Redford, and gave it a watch.
Glad I did.
In some ways better than Lincoln.
Probably the lack of Sally Field's annoying depiction of Abe's wife.
I've never been a huge fan of Robin Wright's acting, but she doesn't ruin it. I just think they could have picked someone better.
Justin Long is horribly miscast. I have no clue how he snuck onto the set.
But everyone else was great.
While this film might have done better if they had picked someone with a better screen presence than James McAvoy, he really shows his acting chops.
If you like historical films, or courtroom flicks - give this one a try.
