A very poor movie by any stretch of anyones imagination. Not even a top notch performance from Barry Sullivan could save this dreary western. Hard to believe this movies only went for 87 minutes. It really felt for like a 2 hour movie. The problem with the movie really does lay with Audie Murphy's character Seven Jones. Maybe it was Murphy's performance as Jones or could have been the character himself but it was just a boring performance. Jones character just didn't develop from being nothing at the beginning to being nothing at the end.
The movie had the typical western Indian attack which added nothing at all to the movies. But hey you can't have an Audie Murphy movie without Indians.
A young and attractive Venetia Stevenson is the the romantic interest for Murphy, but outside of that there is nothing to her character.
Watch this movie if you wish, but be warned its not very good and I doubt you will watch it a second time.
