In this Amazon, anything is possible, except a good movie with good actors.

Warning: Spoilers
Well, maybe the ones playing the locals, but as for those playing the Americans (led by Richard Grieco), forget. I didn't believe that one of them had any knowledge of the alleged field of study to accomplish what they were there for, more likely the social media influencer type rather than the serious drama type. Poisonous frogs, fish who'll eat an entire boat to get to the human flesh above, giant alligators (to remind us of what a crock this is) and a ridiculously looking monster snake, as well as rumors of some creature that will steal someone's mind. Then there's also native cannibals with tooth picks sticking out of their nose and a giant spider.

The bottom line is that none of these Americans are anyone I'd want to be on a plane with, let alone a journey where their stupidity could kill me. The writing is insipid, the photography dizzying and blury, and the thrills far and few between. When these people try to prove what they believe to be true, the more uninformed they sound, just spouting nonsense. At least some of the locations are pretty, but not enough to make this watchable. Take me back to 1972 and the mysteries of the Keys and that horror masterpiece "Frogs" for something much more intelligent than this.
