First of all, even though I didn't expect that much from a German movie I was sonewhat impressed by the overall plot, the setting, the visual effects and how the actors and actresses did their job. Especially the narrative was interesting and it was a relatively well-written dystopian story. I think the movie definitely succeeds in conveying some interesting social critiques e.g. About class divisions and unequal privileges, our obsession with eternal youth, the exploitation of resources including human beings and their bodies, social media etc.
However, many aspects of this film seemed very generic and somehow reminded my of other Sci-Fi/ dystopian narratives. Also, I was unsatisfied with the ending because it felt too open and in my opinion could have ended in a more sophisticated manner. Nevertheless, I'd definitely say that the movie is worth watching.
