A Canadian remake of the cult classic version that starred Alyssa Milano and Martin Kemp. For starters, this iteration suffers for not having the gorgeous Alyssa Milano as it's lead, and Martin Kemp is a suaver vampire than Victor Webster, though Webster definitely has a few cool moments. Hard to reconcile VW as a bloodthirsty vampire when his "day job" is a Hallmark star.
Sharon Hinnendael as the protagonist, Charlotte Hawthorn who is new to university and torment by nightmarish visions (who isn't, these days?) is good, but is no Alyssa Milano, and the comparisons will always ne there. That said, she shows more skin than Alyssa did, and there is one particular memorable scene.
A downgrade on the Alyssa Milano original, but a pretty good movie if you set that fact aside.
