Firecracker (1981)

(7/10): Here we have once again, another Roger Corman produced film, I'm telling ya, he's going to mentioned so many times that you're gonna lose track.

Firecracker is about a female martial arts instructor who travels to Asia in search of her lost sister, a journalist who has gone missing there, and she finds herself fighting against the Mafia who has been running guns and drugs through their underground, unregulated fighting tournament.

Once the body of her sister surfaces, She goes on a killing spree against her sister's killers.

A simple enough plot but enough to give the film a sense of plot development as it does what it set out to do, be cheesy, over the top fun that you and your buddies can chug a few beers and make fun of and just have a good time.

It's got some decent fight scenes, nothing that'll blow your mind but they are still good, sometimes, and other times it's just okay.

The sets are pretty cool in some scenes, mainly the underground fighting rings are nice to look at, especially considering the budget.

Other than that I don't really have a whole lot to say, it's silly, yet simple, B-Movie fun.
