I don't even know where to start with the contrived plot and cliches.
Maybe with the oh so subtle message of God wiping out "evil" cities like Las Vegas and Hollywood but no where else.
Supporting character dying instantly, and unexplained, after tempting the married character with a kiss.
It could be that meteor, meteorite, and comet are used interchangeably. They all mean "small peice of space junk that inexplicably explode inches above the ground" but cause only superficial damage. Or, when possible with the budget, allow a super imposed crater to be added.
The junk also has the aim of a low level super villain lackey: hitting all around people but never hitting anyone.
