I watched this as a young teenager and I really loved the super hero take on it ,obviously it was influenced by the X Men ,I always thought it was very original at that time most superhero shows failed miserably due to the crappy costumes and special effects , the Incredible Hulk an exception, the fact Dean Martins son Dean Paul Jr starred added a bit of class to it he was a handsome all American guy who had a lot of charisma which made it more shocking when he was killed in a plane crash which seemed to bring the series to an early end, but still if you get to see this it is of it's time and probably seems very outdated compared to modern shows but at the time it was fresh and exciting which made many a young kid happy for an hour !
