Except for the schmaltzy ending, I found this movie version of Houdini's life a bit more tolerable and watchable than the other ridiculous and inaccurate versions that have been made. I mainly watched it in the hopes that Jonathan Schaech (or however his last name is spelled) would have several nude scenes since Houdini sometimes worked nude or semi-nude. Scharech doesn't appear nude, but there is a memorable scene of him wearing a black G-string. As expected, this film also plays fast and loose with the facts of Houdini's life and as another reviewer here wrote, I also wonder if there will ever be a completely accurate film adaptation of his life. It hasn't happened yet, so I remain doubtful.
