Review of [Rec]²

The story is mostly mix for me. I really like the goal of one of the character who wants to find a blood sample for a antidote. The movie is still does a great job with building up the suspense during the action and chase scenes. There's also a couple of interesting ideas in the movie that I won't spoiler. Also the climax is done really well. The effects are still really good in this movie. The makeup and gore effects are still really well made. There's also some CGI in the movie that doesn't look bad and works in really well. I felt the atmosphere isn't as strong compared to the first movie. While there some creepy parts in the movie. It isn't as effective as the previous movie and is pretty predictable to guess.

One of the biggest problems of the movie is the side plot about the teenagers. They have little to do with the story and mostly there to caused trouble. I feel like this plotline could be easily cut out.
