B minus crime film with A plus leading ladies and a B plus location of Glacier National Park
2 November 2023
My summary title provides my review as best I can. As for the crime/adventure story line it was just okay. A young lady Louis Graham (Piper laurie) witnesses a murder that she should not have seen but the killer gets a glimpse of his witness and finds out she has vanished to hide out at the Glacier National Park until the trial.

So the young and frightened Louis Graham has a bounty hunter named Paul Adams (played by Vincent Price) who portrays himself as a photographer looking for models and scenerey to photograph in the Glacier National Park. A detective named Matt Hallett (Victor Mature) also is advised that a bounty hunter is after Lousie so he travels to Glacier National Park to protect the young Louis Graham from the assassination.

I thought Victor Mature as the protective detective was too old for the part as both the protector and romantic interest of the almost 20 year younger Piper Laurie's character.

It had it's momemts, but I would have like to have seen more scenes shout in the picturesque Glacier National Park and less on the studio lots. I give the film a passing 5 out of 10 IMDb rating.

It is nothing special.
