Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) is headed for college. He sells his car to his friends, but they keep delaying payment. Judge Hardy (Lewis Stone) makes a judgement on Jeff Willis and has a case with an injured boy against a lumber company. Polly Benedict (Ann Rutherford) introduces Andy to sexy student Sheila Brooks (Esther Williams).
As always, the studio is introducing another new beauty to be Andy's love interest. This one has newbie Esther Williams in all her swimming glory. It's also the last Andy Hardy movie for the love-starved Polly Benedict. I don't agree with her plan. I guess it's not a great plan if she's no longer in the franchise. This is another fine Andy Hardy film.
