The complexity of women matched with trying to survive an industry built by men is unbeatable! They're in charge of their bodies, their attitudes, and their lives. The writing is phenomenal. The acting is superb. The characters that you hate, you despise. The characters you admire, you fall in love with. The ups and downs are a ride I can't get enough of. Issa Rae has done it again! The show captures the complexity of life as a black woman trying to raise kids and make a name for yourself. Mia and Shawna and Chasity are my favorite new best friends! I'm rooting for this show and I can't wait for the next season.
