The Trouble with Templeton, a Twilight Zone episode from 1960, seems to have inspired this inspiring British movie Truly Madly Deeply released 30 years later in 1990. The Trouble with Templeton deals with lost loves and how to deal with alienation and motivation about lives lost, and so does Truly Madly Deeply. Alan "Die Hard" Rickman stars in Truly Madly Deeply as a ghost who revisits his understandably bereaved wife Nina (Juliet "Bend it like Beckham" Stevenson). It makes you think about love's lost and the emotional difficulty of moving on after such tragic circumstances. It ain't easy, but the movie makes you think.
