Brad Davis, famous for his role in Midnight Express and later Chiefs, plays American (not Canadian) journalist Neil Travers who investigates the downing of the Rainbow Warrior in New Zealand, an island nation below Australia. Anyway, the words of Travers at the end pretty much summed up how much power France had (who later admitted responsibility for the downing of the Rainbow Warrior and the death of photographer Fernando Pereira who was trapped on board, would use its European muscles to get its way, and yes they did.
