For reference, these are my ratings for the previous movies of Truffaut pentalogy :
THE 400 BLOWS : 6,3/10.
Antoine et Colette: 7,2/10.
Baisers volés : 7,1/10.
Domicile conjugal : 6,2/10.
LOVE ON THE RUN is the fifth and last entry of "Antoine Doinel's" pentalogy. It's somewhat satisfying for an epilogue, i mean, i was not impressed by the character development but still, one can say this journey was interesting. There were some intriguing moments here but overall, it fell a bit flat. I liked the flashbacks, there is a sense of continuity, Colette's reappearance was delightful. Truffaut gives us a closure. I am gonna watch for sure some other movies of his but to be honest, from what i've watched until now, he is getting more praise than he deserves.
