Decorated Marine sniper John Stewart is home with nightmarish issues. A UFO crashes nearby and the alien Green Lantern had been searching for him. He is given a ring with the powers of the Green Lantern. He is their representative on Earth. The ring pulls him to the Justice League Watchtower where he encounters Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Vixen.
This is DC animation. It's never good when the words economy or trade get mentioned in a sci-fi exposition. They should just call it a bridge. There is a lot of exposition every fifteen minutes or so. That tends to grind the movie to a halt especially when it's done so flatly. Otherwise, this is fine with lots of action.
