The Tigers Apprentice is a 2024 Paramount Plus exclusive animated film featuring the voice talents of Henry Golding (in his animated debut),Michelle Yeoh,Lucy Liu,Sandra Oh,Brandon Poo Poo and Leah Lewis.
The story follows a young boy named Tom(Poo) who discovers that he is an apprentice for the 12 Chinese zodiacs. When his grandmother gets killed by an evil empress(Yeoh),he joins Mr Hu(Golding)who trains Tom into becoming an apprentice and to defeat the empress. Will Tom and the 12 chinese zodiacs save the day?.
Overall it was a good animated flick that reminded me of Rise Of The Guardians. Funny enough the writer for this film also wrote Mary Poppins Returns and The Little Mermaid (2023). The voice cast was good too,especially Brandon Poo and Henry Golding (who never did animation before).
