The themes are interesting, especially in the context of The Boys S4 coming out this year.
I think that the characters were pretty good in the earlier sections of the show. However, near the end, they begin to lose their appeal.
The acting was awesome, and Chance Pedromo (the actor for Andre) especially portrayed the physical acting superbly.
The ideas and concepts presented in the show were quite lack lustre. For example, Sam seeing puppets was a weird and wacky concept that I found funny. However, it seemed heavily underused.
The episode occasionally felt too all over the place and confusing to understand.
The sexual scenes seemed unnecessary. However, I have come to expect it from the Universe of The Boys.
In conclusion, the show is great for fans of the boys. However, if you are watching without having seen the boys, it may seem confusing and too grotesque.
