Sally Forrest is filling in as secretary and switchboard operator in the department store's advertising agency. Her father, Leon Ames, bursts in with an idea for her boss, Fred Clark. Lieutenant Jimmy Lydon is advertising for guests at his wedding to an enlisted woman, since they don't know anyone in town. Clark decides that the store will provide everything for the wedding. Of course, it all goes wrong.
It's an episode from SCREEN DIRECTORS' PLAYHOUSE directed by the durable William Seiter. It's a pretty good comedy that looks like Miss Forrest will walk down the aisle with Lydon. I think I would have enjoyed it more without the canned laughter.
