I can't believe it's taken me ages and ages to finally post an imdb user review for Still Crazy, which starred Bill Nighy as Ray Simms. I saw Still Crazy when it released in the cinema back in 1998, so that's 26 years ago, wow. Anyway, there was a certain energy and honesty in the portrayal of the erstwhile rock stars who still have it in them to be rock stars as they approached the millenium init. Anyway, Bill Nighy I think pretty much stole the movie, and here he kind of set the trope of Bill Nighy playing Bill Nighy. I'd love a modern day reboot that focuses on reality show performers and how they adjust to life post-fame.
