Left me w actual CHILLS! As an adoptee from foster care I felt that I could relate to Noah throughout the film, even right off the bat when I was introduced to his character as a fellow latino with a white name due to their adoption. This movie had me questioning my own family dynamic and who was the villain of the story (every single character in some way)
go into it blind you'll hate it in the best way possible, because it's so REAL like that could be your own family in a similar crisis you just have no idea.
Cinematography was just so beautiful and raw. I loved the cuts and attention to little detail in the video work. The characters knew exactly what they were doing I was able to connect very well with them due to their amazing performances. Very subtle things like slight body placement and ESPECIALLY actors' eyes conveyed so much unspoken emotion that I was able to predict certain things I don't want to spoil, which I loved!
I'll be thinking about this movie for months to come; this is the typa movie that just STICKS with you; go watch!
