While attending Columbia University in New York, a young Sioux Indian named Sky Fire falls in love with Martha Randolph, a pretty young white girl. Things take a turn for the worse when a rejected suitor tells Martha's father that Sky Fire is an Indian, and the father promptly refuses Martha permission to bet married.
