Patricia is married to Pascal. She misses her freedom and, while reading Sun Tzu's The Art of War, finds a strategy to break off the marriage with Sun Tzu as her guide. The film jumps between her "de-seducing" Pascal (in bed, in a restaurant, on their wedding anniversary), and her talking about it all with a neighbor, Madame Lupin. Will Patricia go all the way in her retreat? Will Pascal find a way to bring her back to love, or will he get violent? And, what about the way of peace?
