In this film Warren Kerrigan and Jack Richardson give us the contrast between strong and weak men combating for the hand of the heroine, played by Jessalyn Van Trump. Jack throws a brickbat at his rival, and by so doing knocks him into the girl's good graces. The hero later does good for evil by saving Jack's life.
