This one-reel drama never has happened and never will happen, but it's entertaining romance, for all that. Tom Mix, as a cowboy hero, and Louella Maxam, as a pretty schoolmarm, take good care of the love interest, and there's plenty of excitement besides. - The Moving Picture World, May 29, 1915
