The Glenn Miller Orchestra appear as well as several Pop and R&B acts singing their hits of the day. Buddy Holly and The Crickets perform "That'll Be The Day" and "Peggy Sue". Sam Cooke sings "You Send Me"and "I Love You For Sentimental Reasons. The Rays, who encountered an auto accident on the way to NYC, sing "Silhouettes", with two members of the group replaced by relatives in order to "go on with the show". Bobby Helms sings "My Special Angel".
