every ride is its own adventure

The Academy Award-nominated "3rd Ave. El" consists of footage of the New York subway traveling in various areas to the tune of Joseph Haydn's "Concerto in D for Harpsichord". All this footage makes it look like one impressive experience. If my city had a subway, I can guarantee you that I'd ride it as much as possible (obviously not that much right now with COVID-19).

I suspect that the various people captured in the footage - including the little girl - had no idea that the short would get nominated for an Oscar, or that we'd be able to watch it online all these decades later. Of course, what else is there to do amid the coronavirus quarantine?

Anyway, worth seeing.
