Sex & Nudity

  • Moderate-strong sex references.
  • The two main characters Richie and Eddie are often trying to have sex with somebody, as they are both desperate. Richie is portrayed as a virgin and is often talking about losing his virginity.
  • Lots of references to "shagging" or "banging".
  • Lots of masturbation jokes throughout.
  • In the first episode, condoms and sex sprays are brought at a sex shop, and a model penis is seen.

Violence & Gore

  • Strong, and often bloody, slapstick violence, often involving the two main characters fighting.
  • Many comic fistfights, with sometimes bloody results.
  • A lot of comic, over-the-top gory violence. In one episode, Richie cuts off his finger with a lot of blood spray. In another episode, during a fight, Richie saws off Eddie's legs. In another episode, Richie throws a dart in Eddie's eye and sets him on fire.
  • The violence can be rather strong and nasty, but it's always comically done, and always portrayed in a cartoonish manner.

Profanity

  • Moderate language throughout.
  • "Shit", "bullshit", "bollocks", "bastard", "twat" and "bitch" are often said.
  • Pervasive verbal sex references.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Eddie is often seen drunk, and known to be a heavy drinker.
  • Alcohol use throughout.
  • In a couple of episodes, smoking is seen. Eddie and Spudgun are seen drinking beer and smoking cigars, and in one episode Richie puts a cigarette in a pen and smokes it, trying to look fancy.
  • In one episode, Richie makes a reference to thieves "speedballing on heroin and cocaine".

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • None, but lots of gross humour that could offend.
  • People who are squeamish would be offended by the painful violence.
