Sex & Nudity

  • It is implied that a man rapes his wife after beating her. He throws her on a bed and rips off his shirt and the scene ends.Next morning,when woman get up from bed her side breast visible.
  • Some sexual references.

Violence & Gore

  • All the beating scenes (especially the domestic violence scene) are very graphic and hard to watch.
  • A heavily built man wearing a vest smashes a bottles over another mans head before attacking his 3-4 friends with punches, headbutts and a kick to one of them whilst they are down.
  • A man wearing a check shirt delivers a series of quick left and right hooks to the heavily built man's face, before kneeing him twice in the face and throwing him to the ground. A swift kick is delivered to the bloodied unconcious man whilst grounded.
  • A very brutal scene of domestic violence, in which a man punches his wife in the face knocking her back into a wall, she is dragged to her feet, smacked twice in the face and thrown into another wall. He strikes her twice more in the face, throws her violently onto a couch then smashes her head into a mirror. Shortly after he throws her onto the bed and rips his shirt off in a rage, implying that he forcably had intercourse with her.
  • A young man is punched, kicked, kneed and elbowed by in a gang initiation beating. By the time the leader calls halt to the beating, the receiver of the beatings is barely concious and bruised.
  • A teenage delinquent tries to attack an older man with a wooden staff, but is disarmed and thrown to the ground.
  • A teenage girl commits suicide by hanging, although the actual death is off screen, the body is seen hanging.
  • A man pins his wife aggressively against a wall and has his arm drawn back as if to hit her. He has a bottle in his hand. He smashes the bottle very near her head in a rage, and issues a death threat.
  • A vicious beating is dealt out in a crowded bar; a man has his head smashed through a window, is punched repeatedly in the face, is struck with a metal bar stool, has his head bashed off a wooden table, is kicked in the groin and finally stabbed with a freshly broken beer bottle. By the time the beating has ended the man is severly injured and covered in blood.

Profanity

  • Over 100 uses of fuck. Many milder words.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • People drink throughout the movie, and this often leads to violence. People smoke occasionally, and a young girl smokes marijuana with a friend.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film is heavy and hard to watch from start to finish.
  • A man beats up his wife just because she refused to make eggs.
  • Blood is seen on a girl's shirt.
  • Very adult themed throughout.

  • The rape and domestic violence scenes are very realistic and intense.

Sex & Nudity

  • Uncle Bully sneaks into Grace's (his young niece) room and quietly rapes her in a dimly lit room. She cries quietly and thrusting is shown. This scene lasts for about 2 minutes. Next morning, she is seen in the bath as her bare butt and back visible.

Violence & Gore

  • Uncle Bully gets brutally beaten by Jake. Blood, cuts, and glass shards are shown sometimes in close-ups.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Jake brutally beats Uncle Bully to death after Beth gave him Grace's notepad in which she wrote what happened.
  • Grace hangs herself.
