Well, the story became very predictable about 1/2 hour into the movie. But any movie with Claudia Karvan has got to be worth seeing. In every way, she is a much better actress than that Kidman woman. And a very strong supporting cast.
If this movie shines in any way other than the presence of Claudia, it is the portrayal of the outback. A much more gritty and realistic picture than the Crocodile Dundee movies.
Overall, a reasonably good way to kill a Sunday nite at home in front of the TV.
