- In a flashback on Daantje's (Hannah Risselada) ninth birthday, her mother finds her in sixteen-year-old Martijn's (Michael Munninghoff) bed, both apparently unclothed under the covers. Only side nudity of Martijn is seen, as he is rousted out of the room.
- Martijn (Romijn Conen) and Daantje (Kim van Kooten) reenact as adults the scene that occurred when she was nine. Breasts seen, her bush and his scrotum briefly. She had persisted in learning what Martijn did with his girlfriend -- not much, described as just touching. So no sex in this scene, only him lying on her. And they make clear that contrary to their parents' interpretation and the fuzzy recollection of the nine-year-old, Martijn had not initiated the original incident and there had been no attempt at sex.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Martijn engages in a pattern of psychological abuse against Daantje, persistently filming her against her will, forcing her to watch videos she doesn't wish to see, and alienating her against her friends.
- Throughout much of the movie we have the impression that at ages 16 and 9 the siblings might have had sex.
