It's a mystery
irishgirl6 June 2000
This is one of those shows that make you think. It's cute in a way because of the story and how everything is solved at the end. I'm upset though that I only get to see it in the afternoon if I'm not in school. The acting is okay although the plot does seem a bit unrealistic at times. But I like mysteries and that makes it all worth while.

Good show

I used to watch this show when I was growing up. I remember it pretty well. If you ask me, it was a good show. I don't remember the opening sequence and theme song very well, though. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I'm not sure if I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

A Wonderful Show For All Ages
buffbabe2325 June 2001
A couple of years ago, I used to watch Nickelodeon all the time. Then, as I got a little older, I started to drift away from Nickelodeon, but there was still one show that I enjoyed watching- "The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo". It was such a great show with a wonderful cast! It was about a girl named Shelby who had a part-time job at the local police station. She would talk about all of the cases that the detective was in the process of solving, and she would usually end up solving the cases herself. Along the way to solving them, viewers would watch her talk to suspects, and hopefully, they could solve the mystery on their own. It was sort of like the Encyclopedia Brown book series. I think that the show lost a lot in the last season. The entire cast was replaced except for Shelby. I would still watch this show if the episodes were re-run. To anyone that missed this great show- The books are pretty good, too. :) I give this a 10 out of 10!

Fairly Decent.

This show is basically about a teenage girl named Shelby Woo who works part-time at the police station and always ends up solving cases that the police are usually too stupid to solve.

I really liked this show when it used to be aired on Nickelodeon back in like 1996 or 1997, I can't remember which year. I do remember that this show was actually pretty good, despite the fact that the intelligence of each episode was highly suspect and it came out during a period of time in cable history that I've called "Nickelodeon's Decent". This was a time when the always dependable cable network Nickelodeon became how should I put this without using profanity, not so dependable. That was when it started producing increasingly idiotic cartoons like "CatDog", "Spongebob Squarepants", and "The Wild Thornberrys". Overall this show gets a 7/10 despite its questionable intelligence.

Excellent, Worth The HALF Hour

This show is really great,I haven't seen very many mystery shows lately,so there's not much to compete with. Sure there are so predictable cases but there are many interesting ones. Worth the watch. It would be better if it were an hour show, but I can't complain.

They messed this one up in the last season

I loved this show. Other than the Simpsons, this was my highlight of Sunday nights. Then they changed everything! pretty soon I just lost interest. I guess everyone else did too. And unlike Scooby Doo, this show kept you guessing until the very end.
