Please do not watch. I'm actually begging you.

I'm not quite sure what to say. This movie was so unbelievably horrible it perfectly fits the definition of "dad grab the gun" It was hard to watch. All of the actors were terrible (except the mister robot villain) and no part of the movie should be appreciated. It did make me laugh, but not in the way it wanted me to. The plot for this movie could have been the Bible for a cult. The effects could have been made by someone under the age of five. The jokes were unfunny and.. I just can't even. Why in the world was this movie put on earth and who is the merciless troll of a god that put it here. You can watch this movie for about three reasons: Try not to cringe competition, to much LSD, or you are really and truly an adult with the brain of a three year old. Watch if you want to witness satanism. This is only my opinion, but it's also a true opinion. If you care about yourself and the people you love, please do not put this usless information into your brain.

This was really fun to write.

BoyWhoSavedChristmas.

...if you think the quest for the worst Christmas film of all time ended with Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and Santa with Muscles, you couldn't be more wrong.

Santa has a younger brother called Atnas, who is understandably annoyed at having the type of parents who thought it was a good idea to give their second child the same name as their first child...only spelt backwards. As a result Mr Atnas develops a lifelong bitterness towards his idiotic Yo-Ho-Hoing brother so eventually kidnaps him and makes plans to put an end to Christmas...sleep with Mrs Claus and publish his autobiography 'Atnas Regained'. Fortunately Santa has an annoying brat and lots of Elves on his side...plus a magic hat that can turn Atnas' henchmen into a toilet and a plunger.

There is a joke about Ed Wood hidden in the end credits, which suggests the filmmakers' tongues might not have been far from their cheeks, but even so The Boy Who Saved Christmas is the type of festive film that leaves you wondering if you haven't started on the eggnog early this year....or wishing that you had. I have to confess though that Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without an annual watch of this rubbish.

Currently on rotation on Sony Movies Christmas for the people who've been naughty all year.

Painfully boring and terrible
Dragonflame37822 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This film has no good qualities whatsoever. The acting is atrocious. The CGI is the worst I've ever seen. The villains are annoying and uncharismatic. The film plays off numerous tired tropes like the typical family problems, stereotypical bad guy who wants to rule the world, who is of course the brother of the man protagonist Santa, and then there's the scene where Santa bumps his head and forgets who he is, but his memory is restored very quickly and it renders this plot point useless. There is literally nothing good about this film, only watch it if you hate yourself.

Really good little family film.

Solid little family movie. My children liked it. Good Christmas themed story. It was a bit predictable, but I think most of these types of stories are things we've seen before. I liked the values taught. Recommend the rental for the kids.

Boy Saves Christmas
jackhammers1715 December 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Great Flick. The "Boy" did a fantastic job saving Christmas. I think there should be a sequel with the same boy, but this time he saves St. Patrick's Day. Instead of Atnas, the villains are pirates who want to steal all of the gold. So I guess all that is left to do is round up the cast for round two. I will start by finding the star who stole the show with his outstanding performance, Mr. Borque. Secondly, we need to round up some leprechauns who will bring a stellar performance.

"Boy" was this a great flick that the whole family can watch and walk away with a feeling that the Cristmas spirit can be saved by all those who believe.
